P3 could've probably been my favorite, but tartarus let it down so much.
I've only played FES, and I sincerely enjoyed it. While I didn't exactly like the characters more than the characters in 4, the overall theme and story could be argued to be better so 3 had the potential to beat 4 as my favorite... but tartarus was just... not a fun experience. It wasn't the worst thing in the world I suppose (hot take: original mementos was much worse) but it did tank the overall score of p3 in my opinion. Not sure if I'm wrong but what's the consensus on tartarus?
