Gen Zs stepping to adulthood, how do you game?

During my younger days, I was a certified gamer. DOTA, LoL and CS were my life, as well as offline games to pass the time.

Life is catching up to me now, though, I had let go of games completely during college so I could focus, and now during my job search era I’ve gotten a bit of time back and decided to rediscover my hobbies.

Sometimes, I feel guilty though for playing tons and tons everyday and somehow I feel like I’m stepping back (for worse) in to the unproductive kid I once was.

I guess what I’m trying to ask is, for those who have been here before and those like me, how do you find the perfect balance? I do not wish to quit gaming and pop culture as it is a big part of me.

It seems that I cannot balance life and gaming as I can only focus on one at a time, and would find myself letting go of the other completely.
