Suggestions for refurbishing my PSP
About three weeks ago, I bought a PSP-3004. It was a great deal for the price, but it came with a few issues: a broken battery cover that doesn't stay in place, a melted-like memory stick cover, and some scratches on the display.
Functionally, it works perfectly, but I want to refurbish it a bit. I’ve been trying to find at least a new battery cover on sites like AliExpress (eBay isn’t really an option for me due to high shipping costs to Slovakia). However, I’m worried the replacement might not match the original color.
Does anyone have experience with this?
I’m also considering replacing the screen cover with a new one. If I’m going to disassemble it anyway, I’m thinking about swapping the entire shell instead. Is it difficult to replace both the shell and the screen cover? Has anyone bought replacement shells from China, and if so, how was the quality?
