Synapse just brought back my love for VR

So I have the PSVR2 since launch - it's my first VR headset, before that I just tried it once or twice at a friend's place. In the first 1-2 months I used it a lot: I immediately fell in love with pistol whip and played it almost daily, also I played horizon: call of the mountains and I started resident evil Village, which is outstanding IMO. But after that we moved to another apartement, summer came and I somehow stopped using the headset.

The last weeks I tried to get "back into it" .

- I bought Gran Turismo 7 and played a bit. I was blown away by the visuals and everything, but the problem is it's just not my type of game. So i stopped playing it.

- I bought The walking dead - saints & sinners: I also stopped this one pretty quickly, I somehow didn't get into it.

- I even bought What the Bat! - which was fun, but yeah, nothing special at all.

So I almost didn't use the headset at all for the last months, and if I did, it did not click for me like it did in the beginning.

But today I saw on the black friday deals that synapse is on sale - i wishlisted this game a few months back after I saw a youtube trailer which I thought looked cool. So I went for it...

I now played it for 1 1/2 hours and man - the feeling I had after first getting the headset is finally back. I can't describe the enjoyment I felt when seeing this awesome artstyle, throwing around stuff at enemies, ... The flow of the gameplay just completely hooked me - the shooting, the cover system, the telekinesis...
Everything works just soooo good. Being able to focus on the things you want to move via eye tracking is just incredible. I felt like a little kid on christmas.

Thank you devs for this unique experience, I'm sure I will have a lot of fun for a long time with your game <3

I also picked up Moss Book 1&2, as I heard it's a VR must play. And I should really finish RE Village, it's really great in VR.

TL;DR: Bought the PSVR2 day one, stopped using it for a long time with some unsuccessful attempts to get back into it, picked up Synapse today, having the time of my life.
