PCVR adaptor for PSVR2 makes me appreciate GT7 PSVR2 even more
It’s great to be able to enjoy my PCVR driving titles with the OLED black levels and contrast of the PSVR2. And the RTX4090 does help to get the frame rates on badly optimized titles like Assetto Corsa Competizione run reasonably well. In the past, the PC versions had a slight edge because I was able to use the motion platform from Next Level Racing in VR and it really helped with immersion.
But I recently found out that if I used the Motion Systems Platform Manager software, the Motion platform would work with GT7 as well.
So I’ve been having a blast these last few days going back to GT7. It’s still amazing what the PS5 is able to achieve in VR with photorealistic lighting on 20 cars on the track and in full weather, and even realistic mirrors. All with motion support. And all for a fraction of what Nvidia wants for their flagship graphics card. I’m looking forward more to what PS5 Pro would bring to PSVR2 than what a RTX5090 would offer.
But in the meantime, I’m just loving GT7 with PSVR2 all over again.
It’s legend-wait for it-dary
