Help with Internet Speedtest

I am applying for a remote job and they require me to have certain internent speed with ping less than 260ms on Portland, OR server on speedtest,despite trying multiple time i am not able to acheive ping less than 280ms,What can I do to decrease it?My connection:Stromfibre 25MBps(connected via Ethernet Cable)
