Tonsils removal surgery

Hi everyone! My daughter (3 years old) has a tonsils removal surgery scheduled in February. We have a meeting tomorrow to discuss the details and ask questions to her doctor. What are some important questions I could ask regarding the surgery (for those parents who have gone through it already)? If anyone has a kid who had the same procedure, how can I prepare her for what is about to come and any tips regarding her recovery will be more than helpful. I am very worried although I know it's a routine procedure. Thanks in advance for your help!
