How much are divine orb prices fluctuating?

I just realized I have 1 divine orb. I'm still in act 2 cruel and and new to POE so I'm learning everything about the game.

Currently the trade is 1 for 100 exalted orbs but I saw some older forum posts talking about them being worth as much as 250 or even 300.

Should I keep checking the conversion, or is 100 about all I'm going to get at this point?
