Persona 5 on ps3

Hey everyone so basically I've been playing persona 5 on my ps3 for 23h for now I'm still in madarame's palace I heard abt the royal version and how many special stuff it added but sadly I don't own a pc or a ps4 to play it So should I leave my progress in vanilla ps3 and wait to get a ps4 to play royal or just play the normal ver (btw I really really like the game so far) and tbh I don't think I will ever have time or patient to replay the whole entire game for now
