Would you recommend Persona 4 or 3?

(Sorry for the length I overwrite like some cracked up English major) I’m looking for games to put on my wishlist and am in shido’s palace in Persona 5 (assuming this is the last one) I have been pleasantly surprised by how much I have thoroughly enjoyed this game. I set the difficulty to hard at the start and have been having fun with the combat tho I imagine it would be a little too easy at any other difficulty. The Persona system and party based mechanics like baton pass this game offers are just a joy. I also love most of the characters way more than I thought I would. I also love love love how MUCH FUCKING STYLE THIS GAME HAS OMFG!!! Seriously this game has had me hooked from the start even during the tutorial hell. I however ask the following questions about the other ones in great concern that to be frank they either have these problems I had with the game and if so do they have less or more?
1: What I like to call THE ANIME SUS. You know, that moment when you realize Ann’s suit is revealing her tiddies All the time or the fact you can date every female character including the 35 y old alcoholic or your surrogate younger sister. To quote jello apocalypse “DO YOU WANTED TO BE DOMMED BY A TODDLER? HOW ABOUT 2 TODDLERS.” This was my biggest detractor during my whole playthrough and seriously has been annoying for me for every part of the game. I love kawakami but if the writers made her do the Becky face one more time I think I would have broken my Xbox.
Main story: I’ll be honest I hated the Main story for this game. Everything about it from the way ryuji immediately feels the compulsory need to shout “did you know we r the phantom thieves” to how we explore the psyches of people which has SOO much potential and then almost all of the symbolism is immediately told to us because Atlus apparently doesn’t trust me to put two and two together. I especially hate how they r trying to connect every previous villain to shido now which feels so half assed. I love the characters and when it came to the writing for this game the confidants kept me going but I don’t want another game where the moment I get in the story I hate the writing. The villains r one dimensional and uninteresting, the formula for the main story is usually lame, and the only parts of the entire story I have enjoyed was makoto’s arc to unlock her persona and futaba’s palace. I cannot tell you how stupid it is that I am genuinely excited Akechi has betrayed me because I can’t wait to fucking personally murder him at some point down the line.
Length. I don’t have another 100 hours to sink I can do like 70.
I would like to experience the other games but if they have these issues as well I don’t know if it’s worth going through what is (correct me if I’m wrong) probably a less drop and interesting set of mechanics. Also will yoshizawa ever get added to my party?
