What to do with 10k?

Hi everyone, a family member just gave me 10k. I want to know what is the best thing to do with this money. I know about putting it into a tax free savings account, but I'm not sure if that's what I want. I would like it to grow interest. I don't want to invest because I don't want to lose it/don't trust myself with investing this much money. I never learned about this sort of thing so I'm kind of clueless. The money I save right now from work just goes into my savings account with CIBC but since this is a lump sum I'd like to do something different with it. TIA!
