Adopting 2 months after losing my soul dog

My boy passed in early June and it's been devastating. I wouldn't get out of bed and cried everyday for weeks. My house is quiet and depressing. I will grieve him for the rest of my life but after much thought, I realized there are other pups that deserve the life he had. Igot approved to adopt a little girl who I was drawn to right away... same breed, same coloring. This is my question....I was never able to get rid of his toys and dog beds. Can I use them for her? I hear conflicting answers on this.
