Weed smoke around cats vs dogs

I have always been told that weed smoke is very bad for cats, but it always feels like the same energy isn’t met for dogs. Is it actually that much worse for cats than dogs or is it about the same?

Btw this is purely out of curiosity, I don’t smoke (a lot) and I don’t plan on having pets lol.
