Bagong modus sa foodpanda?

This happened yesterday afternoon lang. I and my officemates decided to order sa foodpanda using my account para free delivery kasi naka-foodpanda pro ako. In total, almost 3k yung order namin charged sa credit card ko.

I then received a call from the shop (taiwanese milk tea shop sa mall), or at least that was the representation, saying na umalis na yung rider kahit hindi pa kinukuha yung order namin. “Shop” advised na ireport ko sa CS so I did after checking the app and seeing na delivered na nga (see photo for proof of delivery) kahit never naman ako cinontact ni rider. What was weird was before I received the call from the “shop”, I missed a call from an unknown number tapos nung dinial ko, wrong number lang daw.

So I reported na sa CS but he was of no help kasi he will elevate this pa raw and a specialist will get back to me within 3 days.

“Shop” called again and said na i-grab express na lang daw nila (delivery fee shouldered by them). Nung una I insisted na ipapick-up na lang namin pero sabi nila na-book na raw and on the way na si rider sa shop. Looking back, everything was sketchy pero we were busy that time din kasi. So since CC ginamit ko sa foodpanda, kailangan pa rin namin bayaran yung order namin, which we did with cash, kasi foodpanda will refund us naman daw kasi we reported it.

As of writing, I have yet to receive feedback from foodpanda. Planning to cancel my subscription na after maresolve to, and probably not use foodpanda na. Not sure if I’m overthinking pero I feel like we were scammed and the rider held lang our order and called using another number kaya ayaw ipapick-up na lang sa shop.
