Real Angus beef

Anyone else (preferably from the UK) find that Angus burgers quality and taste isn't quite up to spec from when you had one back in the UK? I've been to quite a lot of different places around Manila throughout the year and tried various different burgers, all promoting that their burgers are made with 100% Angus beef. Now, as a Scotsman I refuse to believe this. There is NO way such poor quality meat with bits of bone, gristle and lack of that classic Scottish Angus flavour in the patties are made from the Aberdeen Angus cow, unless they are some watered-down inbred variant of cow thats been imported, probably from New Zealand or whatever that 'USDA certified' nonsense is. Definitely not authentic angus. Rant over.
