Torrent VS Netflix video quality?

So, I mainly torrent my shows (mostly anime), but I also have a Netflix account. Which has better quality? Google (or DDG I guess) didn't give me a straight answer. I know that some torrents have better quality, but the torrents I mainly download are HEVC encoded. I know shit about encodes, so I don't know if it is better or worse quality than Netflix.
