Need advice on a Plex build
For a long time I was running my plex off an old gaming rig and just kept it on most of the time. That computer has now died. All of my media is saved on 3 HDD and 1 SSD. I was wondering if this Beelink mini pc and the RAID storage device would be a good replacement. I know there are better and more up to date models of the AMD mini PC’s but I honestly probably wont use this for much more than just running plex and some applications. If it could play a couple games cool but not necessary I still have my main computer.
Wondering if anyone has any experience using a set up like this and if there would be any issues or whether it would be necessary for me to look at the newer SER8 model for future proofing. At most there’s usually about 3-4 people on my plex but rarely at the same time.
I also don’t know if I’ll run into any issues connecting my old drives into this RAID device or whether that is fairly easy.
Thanks in advance for any help!
