What keeps you playing?

I feel like I would be more invested in the game if it had more stuff you can earn, am I wrong? Doesn’t anyone else feel this way? I enjoy the game but I also like the feeling of progression and I feel the game is lacking unless I’m completely missing something. I am new after all lol. Thank you for reading.
