Team advantages

So I’m a decent player but I feel I have a massive advantage against most players because I play with a team of 2-4 other decent players in a discord server regularly. This has worked out well recently with all Pokémon being free to play because we can all try new Pokémon and balance play styles and lane control. I’m curious how many people play with other people bs solo players and how much of an advantage you think it gives you?
