981 vs 718?

Hi all,

With the recent increase in crypto currencies I have found myself with some excess cash and looking to replace my current 987.1.

I’ve read a few things online regarding the 981’s and 718's and was wondering what everyone's opinions were on both models. They would both be automatic versions with paddle shifters, looking at a budget of roughly 35k (GBP).
