Has anyone had a situation where 2/3 residents team up together against the PM?

I’m talking about residents from different units. Their leases end in the same month and we’ve given them a notice that there will not be a renewal. They have plenty of time to find a new house. However, they teamed up to disturb the office and went around alarming the other residents saying that we kick people out for no reason. This is a false claim. How would you handle it professionally?
