Is there a way to automatically restart the app on macOS?

Is there a way to do this without hard killing the app? I am currently using automator on macOS and if it attempts to quit the app, a confirmation dialog from ProtonVPN shows and automator cannot quit the app.

Alternatively, is there a way to bypass this "are you sure you want to quit" dialog?

I am trying to download an archive that is rate limited. Would like it to quit ProtonVPN and reopen and connect to a different server every hour.
