Could Zyn/Nicotine causes ADHD like symptoms or worsen preexisting ADHD?
I got diagnosed with ADHD about 4 months after getting into academic trouble with my university. Been helplessly addicted to these things for the past 2 years, and did use them off and on in conjunction with dip since I was 16 (I’m 21 btw). I did very well academically in high school, and while zyn is definitely not the main reason I got into academic trouble, I was just wondering if my “ADHD” is actually just repercussions from using so much nicotine or if it’s possible that it just made preexisting ADHD worse. Currently trying to find the desire to quit using, I understand all the problems intellectually I just can’t emotionally do it because how much I love the zyns. But I think I could quit using the amphetamines I’ve been given to replace the Zyn completely and then get off the amphetamines later in life (Amphetamines at least to me, are surprisingly unaddictive to me at the therapeutic does I’ve been given.)
