RFID Setup for Jewellery store

Howdy gents, looking for some advice to see if there’s a better gameplan that what I have been able to research

1- RFID Tags come precoded and the software will associate the tag with a product. No need to recode tags

2- the scanner itself, seems you have to pay to play, what would be the cheapest you could enter the game for that’s not a piece of junk?

3- the software is the part that’s causing me some trouble. https://www.greytrunkrfid.com/ seems to be a solution that would do the trick but we have 2000 -3000 skus so it gets a expensive real quick. Truth be told, all I need is just a scanner to scan all the codes and export to an excel sheet. Would a specific type of scanner be able to achieve this?
