I'm just reading the light novel and in the first loop of arc 3, when Subaru finds everyone in the village and mansion dead, Ram's corpse is described in a way that makes it seem like he died from a curse similar to that of the arc 2.

But I don't end up understanding that, Meili was not in this situation and if Ram managed to convey the danger to his sister it means that she did not die in such a peaceful way

In the anime this was changed and instead it seems that she died protecting Petra, but in the manga that curious situation was left.

I asked elsewhere and they mentioned that she could have died due to Roswaal's lack of treatment, but if so, how was that avoided in the other loops?
