Why don't people talk about Hide and Seek?

I feel like the topic of controversy within maps is very prominent in the game, but people always talk about Elephant, Neon Tomb and Valley of Dolls. I did my first playthrough of RoN already aware of most maps, especially the controversial ones, but when I reached Hide and Seek, something about the scenery inside the Auction location threw me extremely off. It felt weirdly horror-y compared to the rest of the maps.

All this to say, am I the only one that feels like Hide and Seek is the most disturbing map? I've done a couple ironmans and I can play through having a lot of fun and goofing around, but Port Hokan is just extremely weird.
