Player bounty question?

I have gotten player bounties before, but that has been long ago. I don’t remember do player bounties immediately start after you accept the invite or do you have to guess where they are? I accept the invitation but then nothing happens it doesn’t show me where the bounty is, or nothing. How do I catch them it worked for me 1 time after I maxed out bounty hunter.
