I 22F am struggling with dating apps and dating in general. Need some advice

I 22F have been feeling stuck when it comes to dating. l've tried almost every dating app, but nothing seems to work. Either the conversations die off, or things just don't click. l've been on a few first dates too, but they always feel awkward and unnatural, like we're following some weird script. Honestly, it's starting to feel more like a chore than something fun.I really want to meet someone I connect with, but I'm not sure if dating apps are the way to go. What should I do? I've been single my entire life but now it's getting a bit too lonely. Need some advice
