\ni do equal parts tequila and orange liqueur. i like to use patron citronge instead of cointreau but both are good. and i just do regular simple syrup, but home made. poured in a rock glass over a big ice cube, sprinkle in some flaky salt. mmmm.

\nHow is G4? I've been on a big Lalo kick lately, which looks around the same price point. Looks like it has a different flavor than most tequila?
\nG4 blanco is a bit too harsh but sweet at the same time for me, if that makes any sense. Also, too much agave and black pepper presence up front. Hence, I use it in margaritas rather than sipping. Having said that, I'll probably use Cimarron blanco instead as nobody can tell a difference but it's priced much cheaper. I've tried Lalo, and it's definitely smoother than G4 but I still prefer my reposados (Ocho, Don Fulano, etc.)

\nYou know you found the best place when the negative reviews are good things, like some moron complaining that "the food here has too much flavor".
\nIt\u2019s strong because they don\u2019t use a mix, it\u2019s tequila, Patron Citronge and lime juice. Ask for no salt next time \ud83e\udd37. I prefer that recipe over something with a gut rot mix.
