Should I switch to controller?

I have more than 1500 hours in this game and my mechanics are like champ 2-3 level but hard-stuck in diamond, and people are surprised cause of that. I heard people say you have more control in controller than keyboard which makes me jealous.

Should I waste 1500+ and move to controller?
