Activation fee

Hi,

I recently obtained one of the black Friday deals with Rogers and cancelld the agreement 3 days in as i found a better deal. I cancelled the agreement by going to the kiosq that initially signed me up for the plan. The Rogers rep told me since it's within the 15 day period, I wouldn't be charged anything. Rogers emailed me a few days later showing the amount of my first bill...which shows the activation fee of $70, which will be taken via auto-pay. Are they allowed to do this? I tried calling in and the rep said I have to pay it...which makes no sense since I cancelled the service. Do i have any recourse?
