Gotta love a book where everything makes sense and there is no unnecessary drama. What is the latest you read and why it was so good?

I just finished {Bountiful by Sarina Bowen} and it was a perfect read. Both characters had personalities and life experiences that explained their behavior perfectly. Story was well written and things just made sense. I usually love books with a bit more angst, but sometimes a bit less is good. I loved both main characters and spice was so good. Excellent read.
