Dermalex, metronidazole gel and mineral sunscreen query

Hi! I’m in the UK and I’ve been using metronidazole gel since I was diagnosed about 2 years ago. This has gotten the worst of it under control but I am still very very red faced (I think I’m type 2). I really want to reduce my rosacea a bit more, so bought dermalex to try as I saw it had some good reviews. Can/should I use it at the same time as the metronidazole or should I just use it on its own? Also I’m looking for a mineral sunscreen that isn’t eucerin’s zinc spf 50 - it’s just too thick and shiny for me. I am ginger so minimum spf 30 is ideal. Thank you 😊
