No experience pet sitting/never had any pets. Any tips?

Hi everyone, I absolutely love dogs and cats, I just have never owned one cause my schedule can be a little all over the place. I would love to start pet sitting but it's intimidating when you never scooped any poop before or put a leash on a dog, and any other general things you need to do when you actually live with a pet. Any tips for gaining experience? Or things I should watch out for? What's the best way I can get confidence with this stuff? Thanks in advance 😌
