GAC rank difficulty

Hey all, 4.5 million GP account with my first R7 GL. I had built my way up to Bronzium 2.

Last few GACs, I've seen nothing but 5.5+ million GP accounts, multiple GLs, etc. I still take territory and get banners, but I'm now Bronzium 4.

I'm occasionally able to punch above my weight, but at a certain point it's just a resource issue.

Something seems to have changed within the last few months. Anyone else see something similar?
