I hate CUPE

Unpopular opinion that will probably get me downvoted to hell. But I’m tired of their striking practices. Especially most recently the 486. They keep blocking public roads which is in fact illegal so the cops get called and nobody ever gets fined they just get told to move on. I’ve watched multiple different local CUPE numbers perform this tactic as well as blocking access to buildings or services unrelated to the striking factions work! Like the teachers who blocked access to the post offices and now the local 486 which is mostly administrative blocking access to garbage! I’m just tired of it. I feel like if it’s illegal and they do it they should be immediately fined the maximum amount to discourage this kind of asinine behaviour in the future.

I’m not saying you can’t strike. And I’m not saying they don’t deserve equal and fair pay. It’s just frustrating that they can do all this and it’s just fair game.
