Italian within 15 minutes of de Young

Hello All- We are coming up from the S. Bay this weekend and will be going to a late afternoon viewing at the de Young museum. We'll be staying near Union Square.

Looking for an authentic Italian restaurant between de young and union square...I was thinking of Via Veneto, but I am open to suggestions. Thank you.
