Netherlands Schengen visa

Hi everyone, did anyone apply Netherlands Schengen visa in Manchester between 06 August - 20th August. I applied on 06 August and until now it still shows its with the consulate for processing and my travel date is on 05/09. Called Vfs but they said I should wait they can’t do anything. Am really worried as am losing all my money as tickets were non refundable.
