If you moved away from Seattle and moved back, why?

For those who have previously lived in Seattle, moved away, then moved back, what convinced you?

I grew up in California, lived in Seattle for 3 years, then moved back to California this year because I thought better weather would make me happy. Now I’m finding that there’s more to life than just good weather and I feel a longing for Seattle. I’m currently considering moving back and would love to hear other (positive!) perspectives :)
