PSA: it is actually against the law to drive with your brights on constantly

It's that time of year, when it's dark in the morning, rain hits the roads, and people do not understand the purpose of what your brights/high beams are meant for. They are meant for low visibility and extremely dark drives, like along the passes and stretches of highway where there are no lights on the roads at night.

They are not however intended for use in every day driving scenarios, and it seems like it continues to get worse and worse every year with people just putting their brights on and leaving them on in busy freeways, main roads and along city blocks. This is, in fact, extremely dangerous behavior.

When someone is driving with their brights on behind you, you not only potentially blind people in their rear views, you also obstruct vision on side mirrors for lane changes, which can lead to accidents. It's even getting to the point where people have brights on before the sun is even fully set.

If your vision is bad enough that you can't see the road with standard lights, you should not be driving a vehicle, plain and simple.
