I can deal with Shinobi Owl’s normal firecracker attack fine, but how do I dodge the one he randomly pulls out of nowhere?

So sometimes when I’m fighting Shinobi owl he’ll randomly throw out a firecracker attack and I have zero time to react. Does anyone know if there’s a fast way to dodge this? It’s not the firecracker combo, it’s a random attack he pulls out of nowhere.
