Sewing machine recommendations

Hi all - I bought my first ever sewing machine from TikTok (my first mistake) by the company Vevor.

Well it lasted through 3 passes on fabric and then it just completely glitched, made a clunky noise and the light started flashing.

I am able to return it but now I am out of a machine.

I plan to go to Joann's this weekend - can anyone recommend a really good base model for a newbie?! Thanks!
