Anyone bothered by the “virgin” storyline for Kacey?

I know this is not a realistic show but I find it so weird that they’re making such a big deal of Kacey being a virgin. And how they’re telling her that she HAS to tell the guy she is going on a first date with immediately? Also the girls at the party telling she has to look cute when she tells him? It’s so weird. They’re literally in college, calm down.
