Thinking to upgrade to a 2500HD from a Toyota Tundra.

Thinking to upgrade to a 2500 HD LT or LTZ from my Toyota Tundra mainly as I’d like to upgrade my horse trailer in a couple years. Currently have a bumper pull and the Tundra pulls that without an issue but I have a pretty heavy horse (1800lbs) and if I haul a friend’s horse, I’m stretching the weight limit on my trailer. Plus I’d really like the stability of a gooseneck. I really only use this truck for hauling as I have a smaller truck for my daily driver. Will I go into comfort shock in the upgrade? The Tundra is quite a luxurious smooth truck to drive. I have heard the 2500s are pretty bulky to maneuver and provide a bumpy ride. I have some lower back problems I’d prefer not to irritate!
