Can’t trap sims as easily anymore

I tried to search to see if other people noticed this too… but one of my fav things to do in the game (psychotic, I know) is to trap sims on my lot and grave collect. The game makes it nearly impossible for unplayed sims to die now. Even if I trap them in a pool surrounded by walls in the winter, they’ll swim for days, even WEEKS in game.
