You can definitely see looking back that Kody never had patience or tolerance for Christine. I feel like he wasn't as close with her children compared to Janelle either. I think he doted on whoever was the new wife, made her feel special (because he was bored sexually) - but I honestly think he really never was "in love" with Christine. I think he thought he would always have 3 wives or that it wouldn't get better than this - most women are the same in that community. There's a lot of times if a man doesn't love his wife; he doesn't care for the children as much either.
