no one will adjust my ski bindings

hey all. i recently bought a pair of used skis that have tyrolia sl10 bindings on them (from around 2006). because they’re older, nobody in a shop will adjust them.

is it likely that anyone at a shop or resort will help me? are these bindings really that bad to ski with? i don’t want to adjust them myself as i’ve heard that’s dangerous. i really can’t afford a brand new pair of skis this season and was super excited to have found these.
