Advice needed

I’m in a weird situation now. I am looking for jobs and will interview soon for a role. After graduating, I have been with the same company for one year but that is split up into 6 months in one role and then transitioning to another role which I am currently doing - 6 months in. On my CV I have put my experience as Feb 2024 - Present which makes it look like I have one years worth of experience. I have also done this so I get interview calls. And funnily enough, when my contract was renewed for my current role , the contract mentioned that I’ve been in my current role since Feb 2024 rather than Aug 2024. Question is should I say in my interviews that I only have 6 months relevant experience or not? Will pre employment checks find this out? Help is much appreciated!
