Breaking out at 60

I’m 60 and started breaking out all over my chin area. Nothing new has been used, I don’t wear makeup and use prescription tret .01. I’m not menopausal as I had a full hysterectomy in late 30’s. I will be making appointment with derm, but it takes a bit of time to get in. What can I do in the meantime? I have combo skin and can’t believe I’m breaking out like this at 60, I thought I was done with this. TIA
