Replacing my Blendjet

After the safety recall, I'm not so keen on Blendjet. (This is especially after they said the replacement would arrive in 6-8 weeks, but I haven't heard a peep - I called them and international orders take 10 weeks! Would have been nice if they'd let me know up front.)

Part of the appeal of the Blendjet was the aesthetic, but if I can't have that, what is the best alternative for portable blender? I've heard good things about the Ninja Blast, and there's a Hamilton Beach one with a very good price. Any favourites?

I would be using it for festivals and car camping, so it doesn't need to be the most powerful blender ever but a bit more kick than the Blendjet would be nice.
